The brochure for the 10th edition of PhC CapalbioFotografia is the result of a thoughtful graphic design project, balancing content, aesthetics, and sustainability to reflect the identity of the festival.
Printed on a single large foldable sheet, the brochure reveals itself gradually: once fully unfolded, it becomes a poster featuring all the artists participating in the festival — a piece worth keeping long after the event.


The multi-fold format inspired a compositional structure based on bento-style compartments, allowing information to be organised clearly and densely without compromising readability. Each section is designed to communicate the exhibition's contents and the open call as effectively as possible, making the most of every available space.
The choice of recycled uso mano paper reflects the festival's commitment to environmental responsibility, combining sustainability with material quality.



The brochure uses ITC American Typewriter, a typeface designed by Joel Kaden and Tony Stan. A tribute to the typewriter — the invention that deeply shaped reading habits and the very idea of legibility — this font preserves the characteristic forms of typewritten lettering, lending it a subtle sense of nostalgia. At the same time, it adapts elegantly to the demands of the digital age, striking a balance between formal rigour and contemporary sensibility.
