My background in visual storytelling influences how I think about interfaces: clarity, hierarchy, rhythm, and interaction all contribute to how people understand and experience a product. For me, good design is not only functional — it’s intentional, coherent, and built to last.
I’m particularly interested in projects where design plays a strategic role: defining systems, improving usability, and translating complex ideas into accessible digital experiences.
Inspiration often comes from observing how people interact with culture, technology, and environments.
I’m strongly influenced by visual culture — from art and cinema to video games, comics and digital/analog spaces. Retro gaming, books and reportage in particular and this shaped my sensitivity to interaction logic, visual constraints, and user feedback long before I worked in UI/UX. I come from a little town in South Tuscany, between the sea and the hills and I lived in Florence, Rome, Berlin and this shaped my sensitivity and empathy in the relations with people.
I see my work as sitting on a hybrid line between craft and digital practice: I combine an authorial, hands-on sensitivity with advanced digital tools and structured design methods.
This balance shapes how I approach both visual decisions and product thinking.
Outside of design, I spend a lot of time with dogs, both as an owner and dogsitter. It keeps me grounded and reminds me that behavior, instinct, and usability aren’t concepts limited to screens.
As I delve deeper into UX/UI design, I am becoming more and more focused on how digital products can integrate responsible and sustainable practices into their structure — from performance and accessibility to long-term usability. I am particularly interested in contributing to projects where design decisions extend beyond aesthetics and functionality, helping to develop systems that are thoughtful, durable and meaningful for users and organisations alike.
My goal is to continue developing my skills as a designer who can bridge craft and systems thinking, combining visual sensitivity, conceptual clarity and practical execution in complex digital environments.
